This week we have been designing and making our own pizzas! We have learnt to make our own pizza dough and then thought carefully about which toppings to add.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our blog! Here we will post pictures of our work and some of the activities we are doing in class. We hope you enjoy following our blog.
Today we really enjoyed practising our counting and making numbers using tens and ones.
We hope to see lots of families at the Dove Class Open Afternoon on Thursday 21st September where you will be able to find out more about our topic.
We had a fantastic day at Bristol Zoo yesterday despite the heat!
We had great fun today building our own islands. We learnt about children who live on the Isles of Scilly and how they travel to school by boat.
We have been learning about plants and how they grow. We have planted beans and decided to grow them under different conditions to see what happens. We are enjoying taking turns to water the pots that need water.
This afternoon, some of us decided to build a volcano from cubes. We worked together, sharing ideas and we are very proud of our model. We think the eruption is amazing!
Yesterday we had great fun dressing up for World Book Day. We read lots of books by Dr Seuss and some of our favourites from home. We made ‘Cat in the Hat’ fruit kebabs, which tasted yummy! We then designed and made our own hats to wear home!
